When you’re so focused and driven that you lose the ability to innovate or make adjustments as the situation demands, your focus can become more like tunnel-vision. 🗺

You need to be adaptable and flexible to roll with the punches and tweak a vision or plan as needed and then continue running after your goals. 🥅

There’s nothing wrong with sounding as good as you possibly can and pursuing excellence. But contrary to what you may think, your team isn’t primarily there to make you sound good or look good.

If you’re a worship leader, younger musicians are looking up to you. Sow into them. It’s so easy to slip into the superior mentality of, “If you’re not good enough for my team, you’re not worth my time.” Don’t go there.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Always be sowing into younger singers and musicians.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not saying you have to take every weak singer or musician who knocks on your door. But part of your calling as a worship leader is to build up and strengthen those around you. I’ve found it incredibly helpful for me and everyone on my team to consistently have someone we’re pouring into.

Many times, God’s invitation for you to grow into the amazing, anointed, passionate leader you dream of being looks like bringing people to your door and giving you opportunities to walk out servanthood leadership.

If you focus on building your team, ministry, or p

If you focus on building your team, ministry, or prayer room without building and investing in people, you are in danger of your team burning out.

Don’t underestimate the importance of real human relationships in the midst of your ministry assignments.

Without deep, authentic relationships, a team will feel less like a family and more like a job.

Isolation leads to loneliness and produces a group of individuals each tending to their own tasks rather than a cohesive team ministering as a unit.

Simply put, we all need the encouragement and camaraderie that only our teammates can provide.
