I grew up in Columbia, Missouri and came to IHOP in October of 2007 where I attended the 'Fire in the night' internship. My vision it to love God and to know His love for me. I desire that my life would be a testimony of His love and faithfullness.


Psalm 139:1- O Lord, You have searched me and known me (NKJV)
Whenever I read this psalm, I thank God that He knows me. He isn't surprised with anything in my life. God created me, knowing everything that would take place. I can be secure in the truth that He has written down all the days fashioned for me. (v. 16) My heart rejoices because He knows what He is doing and I can trust Him with everything!

I am often prone to leaning on my own knowledge and interpreting life through it. It causes me to put up walls in my heart instead of relying on His love for me. When I read about and remember that He knows us and desires to be with us, I run to Him instead of away from Him. The revelation that God gave to King David encourages my soul to rest in Him! He knows me!
