After being involved in every aspect of this musical, from co-writing the script and composing eighteen original songs to directing the show, which over 2,000 people experienced in downtown Kansas City last fall, I am excited to now get to share this story with all of you through this LIVE in-studio recording of all the songs from the show.

Spent the last four days in the studio recording the 18 songs I wrote for the Days of Noah Musical that we did back in November 2012. It was a great four days spending time with the amazing singers that we had on this show! I produced the album along with the amazing vocal arrangements of Nate Hunt who was the musical director on the show. It sounds amazing and I am excited for you to hear the final product!

Whether you were able to see the show or not I think you will really enjoy this CD. I think we’ve done the recording in such a way where you’ll still be able to follow the story and be impacted by these songs. The album will be available on iTunes as well as physical copies soon. We’re in post production now, then mixing and mastering. As soon as I get a release date I will let you know!

Wow, this update is a little late seeing as the show ended back in November! Life got a little crazy for me with traveling, Christmas and New Years! (more on that in a post coming your way soon)

The As in the Days of Noah musical was so much fun to be a part of. It was the second musical that I helped co-write and wrote the songs for. The first was the From Patmos musical back in 2010. A new experience for me with this show was that I directed it as well. I definitely learned a lot, (most by trial and error :) and I would love to direct again in the future!
