"From Patmos" recap
Directing the band during one of the nine performances
FROM PATMOS RECAP
Nine performances complete and what an exciting time it’s been these past several weeks. From opening night when I was an emotional wreck, to eventually feeling the rigors of doing a musical nine times in a row, to the finale performance when it all came to life again, and then experiencing the emotions that come with a production like this coming to an end.
I can definitely say that my heart has come alive in a way it never has before while writing and being a part this musical. It was just over two years ago that the Lord began speaking to my heart about writing scripts, scores, and the whole ‘media side’ of communication and messaging. It’s hard to believe that now, just two years later, the Lord has brought about “From Patmos”. No false humility at all when I say it truly was the Lord that brought all of this together and made this production possible and I’m so thankful to the Lord for these past nine months.
Something tells me that this is just the beginning and the ground floor of what God has planned in this area of ‘media messaging’. I believe that media and the visual arts is one of the most powerful means of communication to this generation because we are such a media driven culture. When people can not only hear something spoken but also see it come to life I believe it’s such a powerful mode of communication.
I want to thank all who offered prayers on my behalf in the midst of the writing process and the performances. Throughout the production of “From Patmos” my primary commitment remained to the prayer room and I definitely do not foresee that changing. But I believe the Lord has more in store for me in the area of writing, etc, so I’d really appreciate your prayers for clarity and direction in this area!

Thank you for all your work on "From Patmos". We couldn't get to a live performance, but we watched the live webcast of the final night. The Gospel Came Alive! Wonderful music filled our hearts and home. Thank you and all the singers/performers!
